There is a hint of warmth to ward off winter’s cold grip for new car buyers with both Opel and Kia offering improved warranty and service options.

Opel’s Grandland X models now come with a 5 Year / 150 000 km Warranty as standard and Kia Motors has decided to increase the value proposition of its Picanto range with the inclusion of a standard 2-year / 30 000 km Service Plan.

Besides the warranty, the Grandland X Enjoy 1.6T Automatic received specification updates in July 2019.

This model now boasts 18-inch Alloy Wheels, Front Fog Lamps, Rear Privacy Glass and Aluminium Roof Rails as Standard. Customers are now also able to choose the Opel Grandland X Enjoy 1.6T Automatic with a Plus Package which adds a Panoramic Sunroof, SatNav 900 IntelliLink Infotainment System and Leather Seats with Winter Packto the abovementioned specification updates . making this best-in-class SUV even better.

“With the new 2-year/30 000km service plan on all Picanto models, customers not only know when to have their cars serviced, but also benefit from predictability of pricing over the plan’s duration,” says David Sieff, Marketing Director, Kia Motors South Africa.

The Picanto’s standard service plan includes, amongst others, a variety of filters (oil, fuel and air), lubricants, engine oil, spark plugs, coolant, the sump plug gasket, brake and clutch fluid, transmission fluid, differential fluid, as well as the standard workshop consumables.
